Dr. Mamgain has held faculty positions at reputed institutions such as Quantum University, Roorkee, where he served as Training & Placement In-Charge, Member of the Board of Studies, and Coordinator at the School of Hospitality & Tourism. In these roles, he contributed significantly to academic coordination, curriculum development, and the establishment of strong industry-linked academic programs. His teaching stints also include tenure at Doon PG College of Agriculture Science & Technology and Daas College of Management & Technology, Dehradun.

At State IHM New Tehri, he also serves as the Convenor of the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), actively promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and skill development initiatives in the hospitality domain. His efforts have led to successful student-industry collaborations, entrepreneurship awareness, and placement outcomes.

Dr. Mamgain’s teaching philosophy centres on nurturing practical competencies alongside academic rigor. His expertise in Food & Beverage Service Operations, Hospitality Management, and Training & Development makes him an invaluable resource for curriculum enhancement, faculty mentoring, and student career guidance.

In recognition of his exceptional service in the hospitality industry, he was awarded “Best Employee of the Month” on multiple occasions during his professional tenure at reputed hotels such as Hotel Mansingh Jaipur, Hotel Golden Tulip Jaipur, Cambay Sapphire Ahmadabad, Pride Ahmadabad, The Fern Ecotel Ahmadabad, Hotel Crossroads Gurgaon and he has undergone rigorous industrial training at Taj Residency, Lucknow, and Kasauli Resort, Shimla.
